How do I get to Dharavandhoo Island?

From Velana International Airport (Male'), you may travel by a 20-45 minute domestic flight to Dharavandhoo or by speedboat (approximately 2.5–3 hours, subject to sea conditions). All transfers can be arranged by us simply reach out to arrange in advance.

Do I need a diving certification?

For scuba diving, a PADI Open Water certification or equivalent is required. Snorkelling requires no certification. Scuba diving requires a PADI Open Water certification (or equivalent), while snorkelling requires no certification. During manta season, Advanced Open Water is recommended due to deeper dive sites.
If you’re not certified, our experienced instructors can help you complete your Open Water course or upgrade to Advanced during your stay.

We accommodate vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and halal diets with advance notice. Lactose-free options, including almond and oat milk, are also available (extra charges may apply).

All rates are in USD. We accept major credit cards (Mastercard, Visa, Amex) and cash. Card payments incur a 3.5% bank fee. Please note USD bills issued before 2003 and old-series $100 notes are not accepted. Payments in other currencies (e.g. MVR, EUR) are subject to exchange rate differences.

What is your cancellation policy?

A 30% deposit is required to confirm your booking. For standard bookings, the remaining balance is payable upon arrival (not applicable for group bookings). The deposit is non-refundable but may be used to rebook within 1 year (subject to availability and rate changes). Cancellations within 2 days incur a 75% charge, and no-shows will be charged 100% of the booking.
